Trainee Parts Advisor , Cambridge

Salary: £Salary Negotiable

To shadow staff  on the job training and Renault training programme
Would suit someone who is proficient on the internet and EBAY websites.

To promote the sale of parts using manufacture, retail and Ebay platforms.

To process and supply parts internally and externally with maximum customer satisfaction using the facilities available to you.


To supply, receive and actively sell parts.

To accept requests and orders from Customers and other Departments and ensure that their requirements are correctly identified and met by the Parts Department in a timely manner, by following documented procedures. 

To prepare orders to purchase parts by following documented procedures. To place urgent orders, for parts on behalf of the Company.

To place old obsolete parts on to Ebay and any other associated websites.

To correctly prepare invoices, parts issue sheets, delivery notes and other documents by following documented procedures.

To ensure that all parts issued or sold are charged to appropriate invoices, accounts or jobs at the correct prices and Company discount rates in force at the time.

To ensure that Company policies on credit are implemented effectively and to accept and account for all cash, cheques, etc., received. 

To correctly handle, protect and package parts by following documented procedures.

To maintain the security of the premises and the Department and Company and Customers' property.

To carry out any further duties, within capabilities, when requested by management. These may include visiting Customers, stock taking, maintaining equipment, maintaining displays, working outside normal hours, supervising and instructing trainees, acting as Delivery Driver or Manager, etc.

Once established within the role to assist in the delivery of parts when covering staff for holiday periods.
