2017 HONDA SH Mode 125
Model updates: Two new colours and EURO4 compliance for 2017 for the high-fashion scooter big on style and easy-to-use manners with low seat height, light weight, flat floor, 16-inch front wheel, storage room for a full-face helmet, plus CBS braking and ultra-efficient 125cc four-stroke engine incorporating Idling Stop.
Since the arrival of the original SH50 in 1984, the enduring popularity of Honda’s SH scooter series has earned it the status of a brand within a brand, relied upon by people all over Europe as an integral part of their daily lives. During that time, the SH family has constantly grown and evolved, with sales totaling over a million units since its introduction. The first four-stroke SH125, launched in 2001, found instant success thanks to excellent engine performance and fuel economy plus nimble, sure-footed handling and reassuring stability – from its 16-inch wheels – on rougher roads.
The 2005 SH125i debuted PGM-FI fuel injection, and the 2013 model, featuring an all-new frame, Honda’s next generation ultra-efficient engine and underseat storage for a full-face helmet, built strongly on the SH history of sales success. The SH remains without doubt the benchmark urban scooter.
The SH Mode 125, a smart scooter in every sense, offers a unique combination of premium and chic on-trend style, easy and secure use, and low running costs.

2017YM HONDA SH300i
Model updates: The SH300i was significantly updated in 2015 to offer faster acceleration and improved fuel efficiency, a sharper outlook from revised bodywork and full LED lighting, plus improved practicality thanks to a Honda Smart Key system, standard-fit ABS and internal storage for a full-face helmet. The revised engine was Honda’s first EURO4 compliant unit. For 2017, three new colours add to its enduring appeal.
Over a million SH scooters have been sold in Europe over the last 30 years, earning the SH name the status of a brand-within-a-brand. These two letters have become a byword for premium performance and classy design, underpinned by Honda’s famed build quality and reliability.
The SH300i, with its compact, flat-floored step-through design and 16-inch front and rear wheels carries all of the SH signature touches, and packs something extra – a powerful engine delivering maximum response for both city and highway use.
Long regarded as the ultimate urban machine, it evolved significantly for 2015, combining fresh, contemporary lines with smarter engine reaction from standstill and greater fuel efficiency, plus enhanced all-round ease of use to reinforce its status as a real modern classic.
Michio Atsuchi – Large Project Leader (LPL) SH300i:
“The first SH300i brought exciting performance to our SH line up – with very strong acceleration and performance matched to agile handling. So the development team were delighted to hear it described by one journalist as ‘the perfect weapon for Rome’. This latest model is even sharper, with improved convenience, agility and styling. And even better acceleration!”

2017 HONDA SH125i
Model updates: One of Europe’s most popular scooters - and the market leader in 2016* - gets an updated look and LED lighting, plus improved performance and EURO4 compliance. It also gains Honda Smart Key technology and a larger glove box housing a DC charger.
Part of the million-selling SH family whose founding member, the SH50, went on sale in 1984, the four-stroke Honda SH125 first hit the market in Europe in 2001. Ever since, for 15 years it has quietly and consistently gone about its mission to provide stylish, fun and fuss-free transport – becoming one of the continent’s favourites along the way. That first machine laid down the blueprint for success: a frugal-natured but lively engine tied to nimble, sure-footed handling underpinned by the stability that large diameter 16-inch wheels deliver – all delivered with elegant, premium styling.
Fuel injected with PGM-FI in 2005, over the last 11 years the SH125i has come to represent the ultimate in urban transport with the perfect balance of style, reliability, economy and downright usability. And of course its story is one of constant, careful evolution reflecting the developing needs and expectations of owners and Honda’s desire to keep on giving them an even better version of their SH. In 2013 it gained Honda’s eSP (enhanced Smart Power) low friction engine and Idling Stop technology, boosting both power delivery and fuel economy.
For 2017 the SH125i, manufactured at Honda’s Atessa factory in Italy, is renewed once more. It’s smarter and sharper, even more convenient to use and as cost effective as ever to own and run. It could never be anything else – it is an SH, after all.
