ALL-NEW MÉGANE R.S. GROUP TEST

THE MÉGANE R.S. BEATS THE HYUNDAI I30N ONCE MORE
"This Mégane is the most sophisticated yet to emerge from Renault Sport's Dieppe base in France", reports Auto Express.
"The Mégane recorded strong straight-line performance in our track test ... and traction off the line is strong thanks to that diff."
"There's plenty of grip, with weighty steering that offers a nice connection ... and there's plenty of control, which means good feedback from the chassis and, therefore, predictability."
"This is what elevates the R.S. from a capable hot hatch to a good one" and "Renault Sport has yet delivered another strong hot hatch."

THIRD BEST HOT HATCHBACK 2018

Auto Express ranked the All-New Mégane R.S. the third best hot hatchback of 2018.
Auto Express report, "Other than outright speed, the steering is very impressive ... the four-wheel steering system tightens cornering, while above certain speeds the rear will turn in the same way as the fronts to aid stability."
"The Mégane R.S. is a cracker of a hot hatch, with a price that represents decent value."

GRAND SCÉNIC LONG TERM TEST REPORT

In their final long term test report, Driving Instructor state that "the Renault Grand Scénic is a very well-executed car.
"The Grand Scénic, with its curves and 20-inch wheels, answers one of the main criticisms of MPV's: that they look boring.""It's not dull to drive, either ... there's a good level of composure" and "for a big car, it handles neatly."
"It feels solid, too, an impression that's enhanced elsewhere by the material quality and the part-leather seats on our dynamique S model."

ZOE

This is Money published an article looking at the current value of used cars compared to their value the previous year.
They found that 11 second hand cars had increased in value even after driving 12,000 miles over the course of the year.
The biggest increase in value came from old electric cars with the Renault ZOE topping the list.
The ZOE saw an increase of £1,900 over the 12 months, a 30% increase.
This is money report that the Government's recent crackdown on diesel cars may explain this increase in demand and consumer preferences switch from diesel fuels to electric and hybrid.
