This guarantee is designed to be Good Different: open, honest and totally customer-focused.
How the 14-Day Return Guarantee Works
✔ You have 14 days from the date of registration
The return period starts the day after your car is first registered.
Example: If your Suzuki is registered on 3 April, you can return it any time before the dealership closes on 17 April.
✔ Return the car to the dealer who supplied it
The vehicle must be returned to the original selling dealer (Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich). Returns cannot be made to any other Suzuki location.
✔ Please give 24 hours’ notice
If you decide to return the car, simply contact us with reasonable notice—ideally at least one day in advance—so we can prepare the paperwork and assist you smoothly.
Who Is Eligible?
The 14-Day Return Guarantee applies when:
You are a UK resident aged 18+
The vehicle is purchased privately, either in person, online or by phone
Payment is made in cash or through Suzuki Financial Services
Registration type is Private or Private–Disabled
Not eligible for:
Business purchases
Suzuki Personal Contract Hire (PCH)
Motability Scheme
Third-party leasing agreements
You may only use the return guarantee once every 3 months, but this does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
How Refunds Work
If you purchased the car in cash:
You will receive a full refund, minus any delivery or collection fees.
Fuel remaining in the vehicle is not reimbursed.
If you financed the car through Suzuki Financial Services:
The dealership refunds Suzuki Financial Services the amount they paid for the car.
You pay any delivery or collection fees directly to the dealer.
Any extras funded within the finance (e.g., GAP insurance) will be cancelled on your behalf.
If your finance included negative equity, you must repay this amount to the dealer at return.
