What Is the Motability Scheme?
The Motability Scheme allows you to exchange your qualifying mobility allowance to lease a brand-new car for three years. Many models are available for no more than your allowance, while others require a small Advance Payment to expand your choice.
Your Advance Payment (if applicable) is non-refundable and paid to the dealer at the start of the lease. It simply covers the difference between your higher-rate mobility allowance and the total cost of the vehicle across the agreement period.
The aim of Motability is simple: to make driving more accessible, affordable, and worry-free.
