2018 Suzuki Swift Sport
The new Suzuki Swift 2018 model with its all new Boosterjet 1.4-litre engine will increase everyday performance hugely and with Suzuki having to consider emissions and the testing of those emissions getting tougher by the day drivers of the new Swift will see the new model power rising from 136 to 140 hp but the torque on the new Swift jumps from an aaemic 118lb ft at 4,400 rpm to a much healthier 162lb ft from just 1,500 rpm.
That should be enought to drop the Swift Sport's 0-62 mph time to less than eight seconds from the previous model of 8.7 seconds and massively improve the in-gear acceleration - transforming this Swift in to a far more useable everyday car as a result.
The new Swift Sport will feature a lightweight chassis similar to that of the Baleno. The key to the Sport's construction is that the platform is based on the Baleno and has extensive use of the high-strength steel means it weighs as litle as 880kg and its weight could be reduced further with the new Sport's smaller body. With this lightweight form we feel it will thrill hot-hatch seekers - an audience in line with the existing Swift Sport.
Along with the naturally aspirated engine the 2018 Sport is also set to lose the option to have the three door version and go for the five door. Hidden rear door handles keep the sporty looks and most people will appreciate the added practicality offered by an extra pair of rear doors. The exterior will have the body kit, spoiler, large twin exhausts and large alloy wheels.
You will see the Swift Sport on the road in Mid 2018 and prices will stay close to the currently models so if you would like to reserve one with a £500 depoist call our Sales Team who will be able to advance order next March.
