Placed as the entry point in our Super Sports category of bikes, this BRAND-NEW Grand Prix Red CBR500R is another impressive display of our HTC success and experience, scaled down to our smallest Super Sports bike. Perfect for the rack track as much as it is for the road, this CBR500R is full of Fireblade know-how to maximise rider engagement.  You’ll notice straight away the aggressive styling and aerodynamic winglets inspired by our Fireblade, as well as the general creature comforts such as the 5” TFT display, RoadSync and our clever E-Clutch system that makes daily riding our bikes so easy. Our unique E-Clutch configuration lets you manually change gears without needing to use the lever. It allows for clutch-less starts, stops, and shifts for smooth power delivery, whilst also preventing it from stalling. It wouldn’t be a CBR without some seriously impressive go, stop and agility. With a six-speed manual gearbox and optimised ECU settings and ignition timings, this 471cc engine outputs 35kW and 43Nm of torque, providing excellent low-to mid-range torque, smoother throttle response and a crisp exhaust note. The strong steel diamond chassis provides excellent rigidity for high-speed performance, helped with the Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD forks upfront and a Prolink mono with 5 stage pre-load adjuster at the rear. All-round disc brakes with dual discs upfront come complete with Nissin four piston calipers delivering incredible stopping power, especially when the CBR500R weighs only 194kg. Honda Selectable Traction Control  (HSTC) also lets the rider take full advantage of varying grip levels, whether it be on dry or wet surfaces, continually providing the optimal amount of traction for the rear wheel to let you push closer to every apex. The 17.1L fuel tank allows you to keep going lap after lap or over 250 miles for your daily commute.
