Alpine presents A310 Vision at the Paris Motor Show

Alpine Unveils A310 VISION Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show
Alpine has unveiled the A310 VISION at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, presenting a one-off concept that reimagines one of the brand’s most recognisable sports cars through a contemporary, retro-futuristic design.
Created by Alpine’s Design teams, the concept celebrates the heritage of the original A310 while exploring new possibilities for the brand’s future sports cars.
A Tribute to an Alpine Icon
First unveiled in 1971, the Alpine A310 helped build on the legacy of the iconic A110, introducing a distinctive silhouette with a low stance, wide proportions and bold, geometric styling.
The A310 VISION marks two important anniversaries: 55 years since the four-cylinder A310 was introduced and 50 years since the A310 V6 arrived.
Rather than simply recreating the original, Alpine’s designers have reinterpreted its defining features for a modern era, combining the clean lines of the early four-cylinder models with the more muscular styling of the V6.
A Retro-Futuristic Design
The A310 VISION combines a sculptural body with striking proportions, measuring 4.55 metres long, 1.18 metres high and up to 2.03 metres wide at the rear.
Its design features aluminium bodywork, a contrasting black lower section and a semi-transparent cabin. Distinctive A-shaped wheels pay tribute to the original model, while innovative lighting and aerodynamic details give the concept a futuristic character.
Highlights include integrated front headlights that appear as the front end flexes on start-up, a sculpted bonnet featuring an S-duct design and a split rear wing with transparent elements inspired by ice and mountains. Blade-shaped rear lights also incorporate an aerodynamic function.
Inside, the concept offers a glimpse of a cockpit featuring organically shaped seats, bold colour accents and physical controls inspired by high-end Hi-Fi equipment.
Exploring the Potential of the APP Platform
The A310 VISION also demonstrates the creative freedom offered by Alpine’s new APP platform, which is designed to support the development of future sports cars while allowing greater flexibility in proportions and design.
The platform is set to underpin the next-generation Alpine A110, providing opportunities to explore new interpretations of the brand’s distinctive styling.
Although the A310 VISION is a one-off design concept rather than a confirmed production model, it offers an insight into how Alpine could carry its heritage forward while embracing new design ideas.
Looking to Alpine’s Future
With the A310 VISION, Alpine has celebrated a key part of its history while exploring what its future sports cars could look like.
By combining the spirit of the original A310 with contemporary design and new platform possibilities, the concept highlights the brand’s continued focus on distinctive, lightweight and driver-focused sports cars.
