Honda Introduces New Service-Activated Warranty with Up to Eight Years of Cover

Honda has announced a new Service-Activated Warranty (SAWA) programme for customers in the UK, offering up to eight years or 100,000 miles of warranty cover and providing even greater peace of mind for new Honda owners.

Available on all Honda cars registered from 1st June 2026, the new warranty demonstrates Honda's continued confidence in the quality, durability and reliability of its vehicles.

Up to Eight Years' Warranty Cover

The new programme builds on Honda's standard three-year manufacturer's warranty by allowing customers to extend their cover for an additional 12 months every time their vehicle is serviced at an Authorised Honda Retailer using genuine Honda parts.

The warranty automatically renews after each qualifying service, continuing until the vehicle reaches eight years old or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Warranty Stays with the Vehicle

One of the biggest advantages of Honda's new Service-Activated Warranty is that it is linked to the vehicle rather than the owner.
