Renault unveils beach-ready 4 JP4x4 Concept at Roland-Garros 2026
Renault has revealed the striking new Renault 4 JP4x4 Concept, a beach-inspired electric adventure vehicle making its global debut at the 2026 Roland-Garros French Open.
Inspired by the classic Renault 4 Plein Air and JP4 models, the concept blends retro charm with modern innovation, featuring an open-air design, minimalist doors, no soft top, and bold Emerald Green bodywork paired with a vibrant orange interior.
Built for adventure, the JP4x4 Concept adds a second electric motor on the rear axle, enabling permanent all-wheel drive for improved performance on sand, gravel, and rough terrain. It also sits higher than the standard Renault 4 E-Tech electric, with wider tracks and bespoke 18-inch wheels.
Renault describes the vehicle as a stylish crossover between a beach buggy and a pick-up, designed for leisure and outdoor exploration. The concept joins Renault’s growing Renault 4 concept line-up and will be showcased alongside other electrified models at Roland-Garros later this month.
