Renault Unveils E-Space Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show

Renault has unveiled the E-Space Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, offering a glimpse into the future of family mobility with an all-electric MPV designed around comfort, space and time together.

Inspired by the original Renault Espace, which launched in 1984, the concept reimagines the brand’s people-focused approach for the electric age, offering an alternative to the increasingly popular SUV.

A Fresh Take on MPV Design

Measuring 4.70 metres long, the E-Space Concept combines clean lines, short overhangs and 23-inch wheels with a distinctive low profile. Its modern exterior features a new front and rear lighting signature, an illuminated Renault logo and an expansive glass roof.

Designed to maximise natural light, the large side windows and glazed roof create an open, airy cabin, with the overall design taking inspiration from modern architecture.

An Interior Designed Around People

Inside, the E-Space Concept features six individual seats arranged across a completely flat floor. The flexible layout allows passengers to adapt the cabin to suit different journeys, with the second-row seats able to rotate through 180 degrees to create a face-to-face seating area with the third row.

Additional features include folding tray tables, individual screens and a sliding central console incorporating a small fridge, air purifier and games. Soft textiles and ambient lighting help create a comfortable, welcoming environment.

Renault's Vision for the Future

The E-Space Concept reflects Renault’s voitures à vivre philosophy, which puts people and their everyday needs at the heart of vehicle design.

By combining electric mobility with adaptable seating, generous space and modern technology, Renault is exploring how future vehicles could offer more than simply getting from A to B.

Although the E-Space Concept is a design study rather than a confirmed production model, it highlights Renault’s ambition to rethink family travel and bring a fresh perspective to the future of electric mobility.
