Two New Honda CBR Sports Bikes Arrive in January 2027
Honda is starting 2027 with two exciting additions to its CBR range, as the updated CBR600RR and all-new CBR500R FOUR are set to arrive in UK dealerships in January. With four-cylinder engines, racing-inspired styling and advanced technology, both models bring something different to Honda’s sports bike line-up.
2027 Honda CBR600RR: Sharper, sportier and more refined
The 2027 Honda CBR600RR builds on its supersport heritage with a series of updates designed to enhance its performance and rider experience.
Powered by a 599cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine producing 119bhp, the CBR600RR delivers high-revving performance with technology developed for demanding road and track riding.
For 2027, the bike gains new four-piston Nissin front brake calipers derived from the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, paired with 310mm front discs. Its revised ABS system introduces Standard, Track and Race modes, giving riders greater flexibility over braking performance.
The updated front fairing incorporates redesigned aerodynamic winglets, while a new five-inch full-colour TFT display provides clearer riding information, including lap times and a shift-up indicator.
The CBR600RR retains its advanced electronics package, including throttle-by-wire, Honda Selectable Torque Control, wheelie control and a quickshifter.
Available in Ignition Red HRC TriColour and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, the 2027 CBR600RR is expected to arrive in January, with UK pricing starting at £10,999.
2027 Honda CBR500R FOUR: Introducing a new four-cylinder experience
Joining the CBR600RR is the new Honda CBR500R FOUR, bringing a 502cc inline-four engine and distinctive sports styling to the middleweight category.
Producing approximately 70bhp, the new engine is designed to deliver smooth, responsive power and the distinctive character of a four-cylinder motorcycle. An A2 licence-friendly 35kW version will also be available, making the model accessible to a wider range of riders.
Honda E-Clutch technology comes as standard, allowing riders to pull away, stop and change gear without operating the clutch lever, while still retaining the option of conventional manual clutch use.
The CBR500R FOUR also features throttle-by-wire, five riding modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control and a five-inch full-colour TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity.
Its new steel diamond frame, 41mm KYB inverted front forks, Pro-Link rear suspension and radial-mount Nissin brakes are designed to provide responsive handling and confident control.
The model will be available in Ignition Red Tricolour and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, with UK pricing starting at £6,999. It is expected to arrive in dealerships in January 2027.
Two CBRs, two different riding experiences
Whether riders are looking for the track-focused performance of the CBR600RR or the fresh four-cylinder character and accessible technology of the CBR500R FOUR, Honda’s latest additions offer two distinctive ways to enjoy the CBR sports bike experience.
Both models are expected to arrive at UK dealerships in January 2027.
